
Mumbai: Filmmaker Rohit Shetty has donated Rs 51 lakh to Federation of Western India Cine Staff (FWICE), to assist day-to-day salary movie staff who’ve been left with out jobs because the lockdown because of the continuing coronavirus pandemic.
Manufacturer Ashoke Pandit took to social media to thank Rohit for his contribution.
“Thanks #RohitShetty to your generosity against the #DailyWage staff of our leisure business. Ur huge contribution of ?51 lakhs against @fwice_mum in such occasions of disaster is in reality inspiring.#FWICEFightsCorona #IndiaFightsCorona,” Ashoke tweeted.
Seeing Rohit’s contribution, filmmaker Farah Khan took to Instagram to applaud him.
“Extra energy to you Rohit,” Farah wrote.
At the directorial entrance, Rohit is all set to get a hold of a cop drama, titled “Sooryavanshi”, which options Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif.
