As cyclone Asani approaches the Andhra shoreline, rain lashed elements of Andhra Pradesh’s Kakinada district this morning.

On Tuesday, Odisha Particular Aid Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Jena mentioned that cyclone Asani is more likely to attain Kakinada on the Andhra coast on Wednesday morning.

“The cyclonic storm Asani is moving from West Central Bay of Bengal towards North Andhra coast and as per estimation, the cyclone is likely to reach Kakinada of Andhra coast tomorrow morning,” Mr Jena had informed information company ANI.

One other senior Indian Meteorological Division or IMD official informed ANI {that a} heavy to very heavy rainfall warning has been issued together with the coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh within the wake of cyclone Asani.

Telangana’s Nalgonda, Suryapet, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam and Mulugu districts are more likely to obtain gentle to reasonable rainfall.

IMD officers had mentioned that cyclone Asani has modified its route and goes to the touch the close by Kakinada coast. After touching the Kakinada coast, it is going to come once more to sea between Kakinada and Visakhapatnam.

“Heavy to very heavy rainfall warnings have been issued along with the coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh. Telangana’s Nalgonda, Suryapet, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam and Mulugu districts are likely to receive light to moderate rainfall,” Mr Nagaratna, Head, Meteorological Centre, Hyderabad, had informed ANI.

The officers had mentioned that the southern districts of Telangana are more likely to obtain gentle to reasonable rains. That they had mentioned that Hyderabad is more likely to expertise gentle rains within the subsequent 24 hours and cloudy circumstances would persist for the following 48 hours.
