Akshay Kumar headed to Ayodhya this morning for the mahurat shot of his highly-anticipated film ‘Ram Setu’ with Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrat Bharucha. The actor shared a photo of the Puja organised in Ayodhya, where he sought the blessings of Lord Ram before the film’s shooting begins.
There were reports that the actual mahurat shot had to be cancelled due to heavy gathering of fans. The situation was reportedly so serious that security personnel and the police in charge of the safety of the actor did not let him get off the car.
Before setting off for Ayodhya, the actor had share a picture of them posing in front of a private jet. Akshay looked dapper in a black shirt and olive drab trousers. While Jacquline and Nushrat stunned in traditional outfits. Sharing the photo, Akshay wrote, “A special film, a special start…Team #RamSetu off to Ayodhya for the mahurat shot. And so the journey begins. Need special wishes from all you guys 🙏🏻 @Asli_Jacqueline @Nushrratt #AbhishekSharma #CapeOfGoodFilms @Abundantia_Ent.”
